Hey guys,
I have noticed that my lights have been flickering lately. The headlights, and even interior lights that light up the dash and the radio. I thought that it was the battery, so i replaced it, but its still doing it. I dont have a system or anything set up. Its a Gen II. Thanks, Joe

Can anyone help me out on this? The lights dim and flicker. Is it something that i should worry about?

I think that if anything it may be alternator related. Have a shop look at it and I believe that they can test this while your car is running. It will let you know now well your alternator is performing. Also check and see if you have any bad grounds. But I would check the alternator first.

Do you mean that the lights pulsate? If so the circuitry in the alternator is bad. This happened to me with a new reman unit. They checked the voltage and it was good, the pulsating just got to me. Good luck.

Slosho,
That is exactly what is happening. It pulsates all of the lights in the car including the clock, the EEC, the radio, and the speedo cluster. What did you end up doing? I have the lifetime warranty, but will i have to pay for the labor again? Is the only way to fix it to replace the alternator?
Thanks for the help,
Joe

They should replace it under warranty. It's not as hard as it looks to R&R. It took me literally 15 minutes on my ATX to remove & replace. Good luck.
