So whats the verdict? They aren't building 10's anymore, right?

So how many did they get out the door?

Well damn , at the rouge factory they told me they were currently building F150 2010 until august....

Maybe the demand makes it so.

Because they need to get the new engines in line and retool stuff.

Remember, 2011 Mustangs have been on the street a while, as are 2011 Super Duty.

Crown Vics and Grand Marquis usually start their next model year around May/June.

Would these numbers be production numbers or sales numbers?
A few years back (I think when Cadillac didn't have a SUV), Lincoln and Cadillac were in a sales race and Cadillac released figures that showed they sold more vehicles. Ford requested a review, and it turned out Lincoln had actually sold more vehicles, and could claim the recognition of "top seller" for that model year.

Anyone heard how many SHOs were made or sold in 2010?
It will probably be like the COA issue that was discussed half a year ago.... the Canadian sales won't be included.

I talked to a salesman at the local Ford dealer today while having the oil changed on my 2010 SHO and he said the total 2010 SHO production (not sales) was around 3,800.

That would make it a very rare car indeed.
It will be interesting to see the percentage breakdown of the model in the lineup as well.
A performance luxury car is a hard sell during times that see one of the wealthiest states going broke.
The number seems low, but it is the only one we have.... and thanks SHOwnGO.

I asked around a bit myself and was surprised to hear the estimates were "Less than 5000".

Hey Fordbastards.com, get ready to change your home page and site structure.

:wikipedia:
The 2003–2004 Marauder sales fell short of corporate forecasts, and after a production run of just 11,052 vehicles, the Marauder was discontinued at the end of 2004.

I wonder how many Lincoln LS 5-speed Manuals were built.

Edit Just found it. 2331.

Edit edit: adding more comparables: 2009 Lincoln MKS: 17,174

So.... does this mean that there are more EB Lincolns than SHO's??????

There were supposedly 11% OF Flex's that were EB models... Seems like there were lots more EB SHO's.... 3K seems very low for SHO . Pontiac G8 GT in 2008 was around 6K.

G8 Gt in 09' sold over 12K. GXP (6.2L)was around 1,800.

I have 2 - modded G8 GT's...... FUN .... TOYS... that drive like Limo's.(When you're like cooling it....)

It's a good thing they have other uses for every single part of the powertrain. From the connecting rods to the axle seals, it's going to be put in lots of different cars, so it's here to stay. (ecoboost powertrain, that is). So Aside from the SHO specific trim, the SHO models are not really costing all that much for Ford to produce.

I think the Ford guys at the convention were saying that 25% of all new Taurus sales were SHOs. I don't buy it though. I rarely see any SHOs. Heck, even in Detroit we saw far more non-SHO Taurii than SHOs and they've gotta have a few more than your average town. There sure are a lot more domestics on the road there than in other places.

I drive over 40K miles a year for work (co. car not the SHO).

I see a lot of SHO's on the road. I would say it about 50/50.
