First Track even of the year!

Well I decided to get a track meet together. It will be on April 16th, at Milan Dragway. Test and tune is $20 for the day $10 to watch.. This is a fairly nice track to go to. We can bring a grill and have a bbq,talk session,and some racing.

I am hoping to get a record number of sho's for this meet! All this snow will finally be gone and everyone should have the cars out for the summer. Let me know what all you think..

hmm..i'll have to plan a weekend getaway from school and make it to this meet. Always wanted to put the final nail in my tranny by taking it to a track event

haha..i'll make sure its fluids are changed and my brakes are top notch first.

Yes it is packed opening day!!!! Its cool though. I was able to get 2 runs in like 4 hours.....and one of the was against an 11 sec sc merc

I should be in for this one as long as it falls on a weekend. I'm assuming that it does.

Don't forget guys that the Lapeer meet should be at the end of March. I realize that Lapeer isn't the same quality track that Milan probably is (I've never been to Milan) but it's still fun and we always have a good turnout....even if it rains.

Ryan, when you get a chance why don't you post up a map so everybody knows where the track is.

When i lived in Livonia, i was a frequent weekend visitor of Milan test and tune fridays. I also dragged my buds 87 olds 442 383 stroker and ran 11.3 I ran the atx 4 times there and ran best of 15.4 w/o any mods. thats right when i get the atx.
I miss living around them woods. Now im all the way up by Mackinaw! ( Cheboygan, MI)
doh... no more draggin days for me... well LEGALLY
- to the ppl that go... you'll love it. Spring sessions arnt busy. and the nice cool air should help tons!

Well if I can get the 3.2 build done in the next week and get her stuffed in the 90 I'll now be there. Looks like everything is lining up for the 90 right now so it could be a good month in the world of SHO. Hey anyone got a 3.2 Rod laying around?
