First Dragy run and I've gotta say I'm impressed. Only mods are Unleashed tuned, 2.5 bar MAP, stat, plugs, Airaid intake. Didn't have time to do multiple runs or play around with launching but for the minimal amount of mods done and lowering from stock about 3/4 of a sec, I'm impressed with this platform. Can't wait for my other stuff to arrive!!!!!!

FYI if you take it to track you'd probably be looking at a tenth or more quicker time than dragy on the street. On the track my dragy times are almost always 6 hundredths higher than the slip, plus you will have better traction at the track.

You guys are making me want to buy a dragy

If you ever plan on going to a track, you should definitely get one. I've done things that I would swear made my car faster, only to get to track and be slower. Now I can find out before going to the track.

Here's my 468th 1/4 mile run from dragy. Full weight a little less than a quarter tank left. Don't think I will ever turn off traction control again.

Curious - what's the difference between the 2.5 and the 3 bar MAP? Matter of fact, what exactly does the new MAP open up? Is the 2 bar MAP that comes with the vehicle limited to only reading 2 bar or lower, and that's why we upgrade?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just read up on it.

Just max boost reading. Up until last year everyone went 3 bar which reads around 30 psi, but when the SHO discontinued it got harder to find them and price jumped it from $49 to $130. Some raised prices, others started utilizing the 2.5 bar found stock on the Mustang, F150 and Expedition. It reads 23 psi where the stock map maxes around 14 psi.

At what point would we need a 3 bar? Upgraded turbos? Or would we not need it even then?

Really just depends on the tuner. Even with upgraded turbos you may never need it depending on how far you are trying to push it.

I seeeeee ... so the 3 bar, then, for me. Ha ha. I guess I'll make that choice when its time to start building the power.
