So you’re saying the nitrous that is being dumped onto the IC would NOT be better off dumped into the IC? OhhhhkaaaayyyHe has a dry shot on the car. He needs to run both at the same time.

It’s being suggested he purge the whole way down the trackSo you are suggesting he purge his nitrous system into the IC, before his run? Not sure how useful N2O is at an idle.

Should call it SHOZero after Subzero from Mortal Kombat but I freeze myself instead of my opponent lol
Exactly. I would purge and chill the intercooler after going around the water box. That will precool the IC while setting the proper pressure. Once he launches, I would purge the IC and spray the dry shot together. That will keep the IC colder going down the track, the IATs will stay even lower with meth and the dry shot of nitrous. It’s being suggested he purge the whole way down the track
Hit the nail on the head buddy with a dedicated CO2 bottle. I took the SHO out for some moving pics...which overall came out awesome but my friend who took the pics had his shudder speed at a blistering 500...So almost all the moving highway pics it looks like my car is parked on the interstate...frozen in time at 75mph hahaha! So I wanted to take some super fast pics of the chiller bar spraying...well my 5lb bottle was empty. So the 5 seconds of fame I'll share later emptied the entire 5lb bottle. So I'm NOT doing that again...it'll have to be CO2 or nothing.Exactly. I would purge and chill the intercooler after going around the water box. I would also start thinking about a 10 lbs CO2 bottle dedicated just to the IC spray bar as well.

When I tried using it while driving it didn’t do anything as far as my charge air temps on my gauge in my car. The one time I got it to work I filmed it while my GF pressed the button and I didn’t realiW this emptied my bottle. Also when I removed the chiller bar the line off the solenoid was finger tight so I assume it was leaking as well. Hard to check the after the solenoid connections alone bc to find out you need to be able to watch and push the button. I only checked the lines leading to the solenoid and solenoid by myself after opening the valve on the bottle, have to press the button to check after the solenoid but I apparently forgot to tighten the line after with a wrench. As always, looking good! I’m curious what your IAT2 temps will look like compared to freezing the outside of the IC.

I might be doing a chiller bar with co2 probably next year, focus now is weight reduction. I did however get a really good deal on a 20lbs bottle, so I at least have that going for me.
Aside from that, nice pipes!
I have the chiller bar and 5 lbs CO2 bottle. All I need is a nitrous purge kit and I am in business. I will do some data logging and see what happens with IAT's when the time comes.
