firewall passenger side/ coolant leaking

just wondering if anyone if fimiliar with the coolant hoses on the passenger side coming out of the firewall...just above one of the catilitic coverters....either a hose slipped off or a plug fell out...but i think its got something to do with my climate control...i will get pics soon

i just turned on my heater and coolant is dripping from under the dash and dripping on the ground from under the car....all from the passenger side

Your heater core is leaking in the a/c box that dumps it out under the ecc connector on the firewall. I had the same thing happen!

what should i do?, can i just bypass the whole heater core by taking the two hardlines that go to my firewall from my engine and put them together?

That's what I ended up doing!

Yeah, you can do it. Remove the two hoses and buy a new hose to connect the two coming from the motor. Ones bigger than the other, can't remember the sizes, and the hose I had around was the smaller one. If I could go back, I'd just buy the one for the bigger one and clamp the smaller one down real tight. It was a PITA to get the small hose on the larger pipe AND push it down some more! Or, an easier way, you can go find a barb reducer deal and run it like that with all proper size hose.
