Fifth gear

[SHOstuff]

I was going to town when suddenly my fifth gear just shot, I wasn't able to move or anything while
in fifth. So I down shifted to 4th and had to drive to town doing about 50mph to make it. So when I got to town I stopped at the mechanic shop to have him look at it. So while idling I put it in 5th gear to show him what happened and when I did that I couldn't pull it back out. BTW all the rest of the gears are fine, it just fifth gear. Someone please tell me what's wrong and what should I do?

Dude, only 50mph in 4th? You can take that gear up to around 140mph, no need to drive that slow it's a SHO.

BTW if you don't want to fix it I'll be glad to buy the SHO. thumbs_u Let me know.

Sounds like a problem with either the shift linkage or the 5th gear shift fork. I broke a fork in my other car and it was just stuck in gear.
