Well, I had some fun this week. I drove the 2016 cross-country and back, and it drives REALLY nice.

On the way back, I had a couple challengers zoom past me going about 110, so I figured since I had some blockers I'd see what it can do. I got it up to 120 a few times, and held 105+ for maybe an hour nonstop, and it has as much pick-up at 100 as a lot of cars have at 50.

Other than this @#$^%$! headlight, I'm super happy with it.

I dunno, 350 h.p. and 20 m.p.g. is pretty good. I dont think 350 h.p./360 lb-ft of 1979 power would do that? I'm a young whipper Snapper though.

I took a random zip in Albuquerque and searched out 1000 miles. When looking for PP SHO's look the Alcantara steering wheel in the photographs. Most dealerships have no idea what a PP SHO is, that is why they usually the same price as a Non-PP.

I bought my SHO in CA from a dealership who originally sold it to the 1st owner. She traded it in. They still didn't know it was a PP.
Exactly how can you tell? I can shut my stability and traction control completely off or halfway off or just shut the traction off according to the owners manual. Is there something in Vin number or something else to aid in identification of PP

A few ways of telling is the Alcantara on the steering wheel, no spare tire in the trunk and a traction control off button in front of the shifter.
Also, if you have lane departure and adaptive cruise control you are NOT a PP vehicle.

Axle code 2A. Code is displayed on a sticker inside driver's front door.

Well, you can have a non-PP that is absolutely loaded and PP that only has the PP. Which should cost more? Depends on what you value. For me the Adaptive Cruise Control is a must so I would pay more for a car with that than PP without.

I was VERY disappointed to see this didn't have the ACC and Lane Assist. I think I'd have preferred that to the PP, to be honest.

It can be added, the modules are there. Just need the mirror i guess. My 13 had it, it would vibrate the steering wheel for alert mode and would hold in lane on assist mode. Or something like that. I never kept it on, takes away from the joy of driving.

I got a check engine light friday. Freaked out, hooked up my phone to check the codes, and found...

I changed the oil that day, and unplugged the O2 sensor because the connector is right under the oil filter, and I didn't want it to get covered. And forgot to plug it back in.
