The fan will not go on by its self it will go all the way up past N. But when I turn on the a/c or heat the fan comes on. I changed the t-stat and sending unit within 3 months. Any ideas or help. Thanks

Robbie, which coolant sensor did you change ??? the one that runs the temp gadge or the computer one? one is smaller with one wire the other is the computer one that has a 2 wire plug, that one sends the info to the computer about the temp of the coolant. do not let the motor get hot this could lead too big problems

Yes. The one to the dash would have nothing to do with the temp of the motor it just tells you what it is.

I had the same problem last year. Replace the ECT switch. I'm surprised you aren't having driveability issues as the computer obviously has no idea how warm or cold the engine is.
