G,
Topica can be a bastard at times. Just join the lsshoc list and then post at topica. Sometimes when you reply post via email, it doesn't make it to the list, just to the person that posted it in the first place.

Thanks Jeremy, but for now, there doesn't seem to be a POST button...unless you mean at the websites index page. There when I click the post button, it says I need to join a list...then when I try to re-join LSSHOC, it says I am already a list memeber!

I'll keep trying!

I've got a ticket repellant on my car. USMC plate, decals, and USMC firefighter rear plate frame. Got a badge on top of that and military ID. enough? lol. Anyways, if that happened again I would've done the 3rd gear drop, the red switch flip and played the mouse.
in regards to your rear plate frame and new Texas law: if any license plate frame touches, obsures, or blocks any part of the plate number, plate design, or state of issuance, the plate frame is considered illegal and fine is 200 dollas. being military doesnt make you exempt from the laws, but you may be looked at with a different eye...in a kiss-ass kinda way. :p

P.S. - i wanna ride in your bottle fed baby...

I'm hearing more and more about *** Texas laws. We just had 2 marines a couple weeks ago get arrested. Seems one got drunk out in down and picked a DD, who was underage and wasn't drinking. The cops arrested them both, because the "of age" marine "provided alcohol to a minor" just because he was there with the minor. That's ********!! They blood tested the minor, 0% bac, and the judge even said it was rediculous. Oh yeah, and I don't expect to stop for some smokies, LOL finger

yeah, its starting to get ridiculous here. the new plate frame law was created to catch tollbooth runners, specifically. and, from personal experience, if youre sitting at a stop light and gently roll into the vehicle in front of you, youll recieve a ticket for following too closely. yeah yeah, i wasnt paying attention and let off the brake and *bump* i touched the car in front of me. old couple, complained of back and neck injuries, called paramedics and the whole 9 yards. 30 minutes after, i saw them walking out of the grocery store, both carrying armfuls of full grocery bags. out of court settlement = $35K. i didnt get the option of KY or vaseline....

Some good stories - sorry I had to miss it. 'Was running down in central Mexico last weekend - fantastic mountain roads just out of Guanajuato.

About el law: pretty rare deal to get busted out in the "Hill Country track" area. Bit of bad luck & at least it wasn't worse. 'Have run dozens of times out that way by myself & with various clubs with a few close calls but no $ fork-over. At least you guys gave them some excitement & at least they were driving Fords!

'Hope to see you guys on an upcoming run.

Cheers.
