Factory Intake Color

I have tried searching for this several times, with no luck. Does anyone have a paint code for the factory intake color? If I can find any paint code, I can cross it to the type of paint we spray here in our shop. Any help would be appreciated! :thankyou:

There is no such code. The engine was built(and painted) in Japan...by Yamaha and shipped to Ford.

Take a nice, clean, stock crossover tube to a paint store and have it scoped.

I painted my crossover tube the duplicolor wheel paint silver, then clearcoated it, then bake it for a little while.... factory paint color!

^not. the factory color is more taupe, less silver.

I know duplicolor also makes a gold that is close, but I want to get this to be an exact match. I know I can get our paint supplier to come to the shop and scan the color for me, but I thought I would see if anyone did know of a "paint code" for the color. (like maybe someone already had a scan done and has a paint can with the color code on it)
