Well, I've had an interesting first 60 days as a SHO owner. The list of repairs/maintance is as follows:
welded
spark plugs
mirc module
driver side ball joint
driver side lower control arm
sway bars
new tires
new rotors
new pads
oil change
ps fluid change
brake fluid change
coolant flush
and to top it all off
transmision!!!!!!!! (complete rebuild)
The darn thing had 76,000 miles on it when I bought it for $9,000.....lol
Of course I opted out of the extended warranty because I'm a dumba_ _!!!!!
Bottom line $3200.00 invested in under 2 months............I'll never in my life buy from the ______ ___________ _________ _________ (fill in the blanks) at Elite Motors in Detroit ever again........This has sure been an expensive learning experience. But I must say, I still love my SHO!!!!! ( a real love/hate relationship at this point)

Sorry to hear about all the repairs.
Unless you are buying that BMW brand new with the best warranty money can buy, you'll be in the same boat for repairs but with a higher sticker price and more expensive parts.
