I have an honest question that has me wondering. In y'alls honest opinion, is a custom exhaust or Corsa exhaust gonna be cheaper and/or better?? The reason I ask is because I have a guy close to me that has an exhaust shop and does very nice work...

Custom exhaust (including x pipe as part of the catback) can definitely be cheaper than Corsa. Will you get the great Corsa sound? Likely not, though you can try your luck with Dynomax mufflers. Don't oversize the pipes, if you want to oversize anything, it should be just the exhaust tips.

I just purchased and installed the Corsa, ide recommend pony up the dough becuase nothing else sounds as good for our cars.

Plus ive never had much luck with custom exhuast.

With that being said, custom will probably be half the price.

Custom with 2.5 Dps and catback with Magnaflow muffs was 450.

Custom exhaust will definitely be less expensive. It depends on what you're looking for.

1.looks
2.sound
3.performance

--Most-- custom shops DO NOT do mandrel bending which is where the performance aspect comes in.

Average pipe bending machines cause power robbing, back pressure causing, bottle necks at every bend.

+1 on a must for mandrel bends. Pie sections if you have to, but mandrel bends greatly improve flow! :hi5:

Custom not mandrel would prob still flow better than the stock stuff though.. Stock downpipes are ugly.

I am getting a custom cbe. I might delete the mufflers completely because the dp already have cats in them. Plus in is a forced inducted engine so air flow is god.

Are you deleting the 3rd cat with it?

I still have a warranty since its a 2015 so the dp cats will stay. I am deleting all the mufflers and the 2 rear cats, installing a true magnaflow x-pipe. But I don't know how it will sound so I am not sure about the rear mufflers.

Corsa is really pricey but I'm sure it will sound great. My buddy has one and it has a loud sound but not too bad. For something less expensive, Magnaflow is a good option.
