I was wondering if it would be 'acceptable' to just bolt my dynomax and SS ypipe together or should I spend the money and have each welded up? I was going to bolt it together first then weld it up later at a friends cause some place wanted to charge me $375 for install! lol

The cat back should be bolted to the y-pipe.

The individual pipes of the cat back should be welded...it's not absolutely necessary, though. Bolt it and have it welded later unless there's a large enough exhaust leak that you are bothered by it.

yup you are correct...I got them yesterday! :) Got the exhaust put on today and gotta go back and make some tweaks as something is rubbing/vibrating when I clutch-out in reverse and when the RPMs start to drop.

After i had my Y installed, the first week whenever i went into reverse i heard a clunk coming from under the car. It eventually went away but i found out later that the clunk was from the exhaust shop welding on a flex pipe and it went away after the pipe adjusted itself.
