Anyone know the thread size of the manifold studs where you join your Y-pipe to the exhaust manifold?

The nuts you can see are metric and I can figure out their size, but the threads up in the manifold are a mystery. And usually they are not the same.

I seem to remember that they are the same studs that are used in half tons of a certain year, but that is too far back and too foggy.

I picked up a spare set of studs and nuts from Josh awhile back. The part numbers below are from his website. There are no marking on the nut and the threads that go into the manifold looks different than the ones for the nut. I can take them to the hardware store tomorrow to check the actual thread sizes

I have used the Dorman 03131. They are not exactly right, but they work. iirc, they are from a newer Econoline van.

I went to Lowes and checked both sides of the exhaust stud. The Y-pipe side with the nut is M10x1.5
The manifold side didn't quite fit the M10x1.25, it would screw in for about a 1/4 inch or so then stop (same when I tried putting it into M10x1.5). I only brought one stud with me and it looked clean, but the third to fourth thread looked a little messy. So I brought a couple of M10X1.25 nuts to try on the other studs I had at home. Same problem, goes on for a few threads then stops. You can see the exhaust side manifold threads are slightly more coarse.

I also have a set of Josh's stainless steel replacement studs that Matt posted a link. This stud is M10x1.5 and has a nut welded near one end. Since this is the replacement part that Josh made to go into the exhaust manifold, you could use this size, but it is not exactly the same as the Ford part number. Not sure what thread size Ford used.
