I had a 60k service done on 2/10 at a local shop listed on the SHOtimes site. At first I didn't hear it but, there is now a exhaust leak (just a day or 2) madflame . I did'nt think anything of it because I just had the service done and I though there was just extra power there that was'nt there before and it was just showing me what else was wrong. When I went to an exhaust shop I found out that it was coming from where the EGR tube goes into the exhaust manifold. What happened is that on of the bolts that holds the EGR tube is broken off in the manifold and the connection is loose . Now my question is when you guys who do the 60K service by yourself or if you are a shop owner do you take off that tube when doing a 60k service? Its just weird that that noise was not there before and now it is after the service. Did the shop break it? Do I have any recourse in this matter? I just want to find out before I go back to the shop and start asking questions. From what I'm looking at it's going to be a hard job to remove the manifold a drill it out. I can do it now that it is warm out but, if the shop did it I think they should fix it.
