you probably got a ATX pipe for your MTX. The flex pipe is needed because it is a front wheel drive car which means the engine flexes front to back instead of side to side. which you then need a pipe to flex.

He has an ATX car and recieved an MTX midpipe.

BTW Morpheus........You could always install really stiff motor mounts. Then you won't need the flex pipe.:nut:

They had a flex in stock for my ATX with the Dynomax cat back system. They customized it for me too, expanding the last half inch a quarter inch in order for it to fit over the dynomax midpipe instead of inside it. They are a top quality outfit! :thumb:

Also check with Summit and see if they will send you out a ATX midpipe. I think RockAuto sells them too. Good luck.
