It's very easy to install properly took 45 minutes. I clean it once a year. It properly could go longer. I don't drive it daily. It's really simple to remove and clean. Lots of space around it since the factory air box is removed.

Assuming engine cover is still able to fit in place as well?

I went with the H&R lowering springs. They improved the stance. It got rid of the jacked up back end look that the Taurus has. Far as exhaust its just personal preference. I wanted a deeper tone without the raspy sound. I went to local shop and had 2.5 inch stains pipe and Flowmaster 40s and deleted the resonator. But like I said exhaust choices its your preference...
Nice! Pretty much the same setup here, with Flowmaster 40 Race mufflers out back ... straight piped the resonator. Then combine the H&R Springs with running Traction Control off for a more balanced rear torque split, it feels very nice and much improved.

Torque steer, squat, dive, all gone. Oh, K&N filter and Cold Air Intake as well. But lately, I've been thinking about going to Steeda in Pompano Beach for some tuning next.

I mean, it's no AMG E63, but it ain't as bad as people make it sound regarding handling ... I say attributed to the more compact-sized 112.9" wheelbase. Take it from someone that has a 2009 C63 AMG that has tried to delete me several times. (What? Operator error? You be quiet. Maybe I just like hanging out in ditches.);)

Enjoy the ride, brother! About to take mine out for a spin momentarily. Run that EcoBeast hard. :omgsho:

Also been looking for exhaust idea. My current SHO has stock exhaust, apparently cats were punched out (per previous owner), and flowmaster 40s for mufflers and flowmaster tips. It actually does sound decent this way. Care to post a video of what your exhaust sounds like on cold start and maybe taking off as well? I’ll have my 2019 SHO in a few days and I want soemthing with a deep tone but not obnoxiously loud when I take off. Any suggestions? Saw a video on YouTube of a dude who replicated a GTR exhaust in his SHO and it sounded sick.

Sounds about identical... sounds like you have good taste in mods..I'm pretty sure i have the 40 series race mufflers also... For years I been a big Mercedes fan. I have had two e55's, an cls55 and a older s600, which cost me a small fortune in repairs. Kinda glad I got away from that. Always liked the Sho's. Probably my favorite with zero issues so far. ✌️

So I’ve read that the EcoPower Parts intake is the best one. Best sounding and sounds great. Comparing it to the K&N intake (which is obviously very simply to install and clean), how much harder is this one to install and upkeep? Does it require frequent cleaning like maybe once a year? Is it much more if a hassle to remove and clean when you need to, sense it connects to the rear turbo or whatever? I’m tempted to go with the EcoPower Parts CAI, but just want to check in to see what the upkeep is, how hard the install is and if it’s really worth it. I’m all for it just want some more information.

It is the better option in my opinion. I bought the intake and hot pipes and suggested both. There are a few spots (unsure if it was intake or hot pipes) that were a little trying to get it all together. However, it has been in my car for over a year. I have not had any issues with upkeep. It connects to both turbos but the filter is the only upkeep. It is not an oiled filter from what I can tell. I blow it out from the inside every oil change. Easy to get to and remove/install.

With the K&N I’d just literally wash it in my sink and let it dry. Pretty much same thing with this one? What do you mean by blow it out?

Similar but, unless it appears really dirty, I just blow compressed air from the inside out knocking the big stuff loose. Wash it maybe once a year even driving 25k/yr. Very low maintenance. No need to buy cleaner and oil either.

I do the K and N oil on it and cleaner. I think it does a better job IMO. the back turbo supply side air hose is thought ditch the EPP clamp and just use a regular hose clamp. also take off the down pipe makes it much easier.

Lol very random and somewhat pointless question, but I just got a 2019 SHO… the PRNDS next to shifter doesn’t light up blue. Is this how it is for the 2019 models? Asking anyone with a 2019.

Do not light in my 2015 either. With that said, I'm sure it is that way across all years '13 plus. Not sure about '10-'12s.

My 2013 lit up…. It just seems weird to me that the newest model, 2019, wouldn’t light up. Regardless, why get rid of lighting there?

So I see with the EcoPower parts intake there are recirc connections. Does this mean I won’t be able to use the rubber chair tips from Home Depot to correctly vent my BOV to atmosphere or this a total different thing lol… anyone know?

you can order it with and without the recirc and just VTA. I would order it with and just cap the recerc and vta if you want. this will give your more options on resale.

Right. This was my thought. But will I still be able to cap it with the rubber chair tips that people use? I watched a YouTube video and bought those, comes in a 4 pack in a little orange box/container. I just want to make sure those will still be able to fit. Or else I’d need something else to cap with. I’m assuming it’s gonna be the same size hole/diameter from stock to these so it would fit the BOV tubing… just wanted to clarify and make sure.

I know with my setup I used the rubber caps. It worked just fine.. I just capped off the ports on the intake tube

Torque Solutions makes aluminum BOV adapters that are nice. They vent to air and yet recirculate some so you get a different sound.

I don’t like the VTA mod because a lot of times your blow off sounds like a long dry fart (like a diesel truck changing gears). I like my farts quick lol.

I’ll have to look up a video on how to do this… but cool

I did stock vent to atmosphere with both BOVs, sounded great in the beginning but after awhile becaming annoying. I would stick to stock Vent first, before you spend big bucks on aftermarket, stocks are pretty darn loud on them own.
