im finishing up my 3.2 swap and im putting the harness back in. i have a few plugs that are a mystery to me. i cant currently take pictures, but maybe i can get some tomorrow.

there are four plus right by the coil pack that i cant seem to find a home for. maybe someone could list components that they could be used for.

there is another plug, this one is the only other plug on the harness for the ac compressor but i cant find a home for it.

and one more plug, towards the rear of the engine on the drivers side. small two wired plug, not for the speedometer cable or reverse on the tranny.

i know its not much to go on but any help would be appreciated.

You swapped the 3.0L harness onto your 3.2L since this is going into an MTX car, right?

In that vicinity, there are plugs for the coil pack, coolant temp sender (gauge), O2 sensor, MAF, back-up switch, Evap Purge Valve, and cruise servo on the pre-94 cars. And one mystery connector that goes nowhere.

yes i am using the 3.0 harness. i have the coil pack hooked up, the temp sender, and the purge valve.

i completly forgot the O2 sensors so maybe thats one on the front., the intake is off of the car for now, so no MAF to hook up, im not sure where the back-up switch plug is. lol i guess i gotta look thru the harness to find it. and where is the servo for the cruise control. thanks alot for your help.:thumb:

Ok, for the last plug you described on your list, try the coolant sensor that is located on one of the hard lines that go up to the heater core. It could also be for the power steering rack right in that area. Putting your intake on should take care of three of the four plugs. One rectangular shaped one should go to the throttle position sensor, one sort of oval shaped one should go to the MAF sensor, and one round one should go to the air temp sensor in the air filter box. (directly under the MAF plug) The reverse sensor sticks up out of the top of the trans, out by the fender, roughly 6 inches from where the clutch cable connects. This is what I can think of based on a 90 or 91 wiring harness. If that doesn't get them, try describing the plug shape, size, and color and the number of wires.
