I noticed while puting my intake back on that the left plug of the DIS module (if looking at front of engine, where drive belts are) was actually resting on the bracket of the vibration stabilizer. I took the stabilzer off, and I can push the shaft of it in and out. The thing is, it stays wherever I leave it. Are these things supposed to go back to an original position or something. I am trying to find out why my engine is tilted back enough to make the plug hit the bracket. Could it be the front left motor mount is bad. Anybody have any ideas.

Thanks
Corey

Damn, I figured those were obsolete. When I get new motor mounts, I may go with the solid torque limiters. I don't really drive the car hard enough, so I don't think I should have to worry about the extra stress on the strut towers. shrug

half-way there, I think.
Solid torque limiters are not a good idea. The bracketry is not designed to take that kind of force. I have seen first hand what can happen to the brackets... How does it go - Solid Torque Limiters + Flimsy Bracket = SHO Boom (broken brackets)

I'm actually planning on leaving mine out after everything is put back together.

What if I beefed up the brackets?? I saw that Pat(Rendyx) had a broken bracket from them, but he was able to fix it fairly easy.

So I guess my engine hitting the bracket has nothing to do with these. I took mine off so that it wouldnt touch, is this ok.
