Does anyone know what the easier way to removal the engine and tranny. I'd like to keep it as a whole because I think it would be easier. So I just lift it right out or would it just be easier to lift the car and drop the sub-frame with the engine and tranny still attached?

If you want to pull the engine and tranny together it's pretty easy to just drop the subframe out the bottom with everything attached. It is also possible to lift the engine and tranny out the top, you can certainly do it either way.

In order to pull things out the top you still need to separate the front suspension pieces to get the drivelines out of the hubs/tranny. Since those need to be separated, anyway, you're already well on the way to being able to drop the subframe with everything on it.

Before you go saying stuff about how easy it is to remove the subframe, be careful. Use dollys or something with wheels. You will also need to life the front of the car up quite a bit. I would say try lifting it out the top first. If it is possible that will be much, much easier than pulling out the subframe. That took days to get back on right. And three jacks. Yikes.
