I recently took my needles off to put on neon guages. Now my temp needle goes all the way up to the top when the ignition is off. But when I turn the ignition on it comes back down to read the temp. Is this normal?? I dont remeber it doing that. How can I fix this?? Any help would be nice. thnaks

I would take it in and get the gauges calibrated. I have the same gauges as you, but I didn't take the needles off, so mine are still calibrated correctly as far as I know.

Any mechanic shop should be able to calibrate the gauges..or a speed shop. I am not sure how much it would cost though. Try calling soem garages and asking around.
