Engine swap 13 into a 10

The tone rings are different along with cam sensors at the rear of engine. Flywheel/ flex plate are the same.

Raplaced my torque convertor seal and going with original axle shaft and ptu seals. No leakage so I'm going to roll with it. Replacement engine has an oil cooler so I bought the compatible lower radiator hose and the 2 factory lines to feed it.

Update- the flex plates are different . The 10 has 4 holes for torque convertor and the 13 only 3.

Fired up the new engine tonight. A little smokey at first from sitting but she purrs like a kitten. It will be on the road tomorrow. I added some slotted rotors and ceramic pads for good measure. Looks like I've got about $7k in it now. 30k on the replacement engine with new turbos and 100k on the car overall.

Anxiously awaiting reports of the first drive!

Drives fine, no fluid leaks this time around. I am hearing a rush of air under hard throttle. Sounds like the turbo or something. Looks like all the hoses are on. Need to get it back on the lift and verify. Doesnt make the noise when revving in park just on the road.
