I was wondering if someone could give me a little insight to what i'm seeing. I am currently running a 91 octane tune and was starting to get some weird surging feeling when I would kick it down a gear and give it some gas but not wot. Yesterday I kicked it down at wot and the rpm's shot up but the engine lost power and when the rpm's came down it was sputtering and wouldn't run right. I shut the car off and restarted it and seemed fine. I took the 3 bar out and installed stock map and flashed back to stock to see if it was in the tune and car seemed to run fine. I kicked it down on the interstate today and it did the same thing, rpm's shot up but no power and then ran like a bag of shit so I pulled over and restarted it and got it home but its getting worse. I did get a check engine light that stays on and codes P0300 P0301 P0302 P0303 which all are misfire codes. Any help would be great. BTW it is a 17' non ppo that is all stock except 3bar and tune.

Check that that stupid boost reference hose didn't come loose. Other than that, sounds like fuel delivery, but you'd have a code for that.

It's on the plastic piping right after the air filter. Look around for hoses that fell off. It's a small vacuum hose. Sorry, no pics.

I didn't find any hoses that were loose or cracked as far as I can see.
Update: Pulled the plugs and checked for gap and color, light gray and gaps are all good. No signs of blow by or anything catastrophic. Coil packs look good with no signs of arcing of loose connections, I did replace the boots and seals when I did the plugs around 2.5k ago. Took it for a spin and if I hammer it it falls on its face and stumbles until I shut it off and restart it, fuel rail pressure according to my ngauge gets as high as 1700 psi, but not sure how accurate that is. If I bring the throttle on slowly it will build boost to around 11psi so I dont think that I burned up a turbo, but not sure. CEL light is always on and codes are all the same P0300-0303

Did you say it did the same thing after you flashed back to stock tune? You should still be under warranty with a ‘17 right?

Yes it is still under warranty, when I bought it I got a bumper to bumper to 125k but only have 40k on it. I did return to stock and problem still the same if not getting worse. My only concern with dealer is them trying to blame it on tuning, not that they will even know unless they have a way to tell in computer?

Vacuum leaks? I assume those codes are for cylinders on the same side of the motor & use the same head (and head gasket)?

Just leave it stock and take it in. Also, don’t leave your device in the car if you have it mounted or whatever.

Knock sensor wires are known to chafe and act up. Could be injector although not sure if that will throw many codes. Could happen I guess if the air fuel ratio gets out of whack. You could always swap front and rear coils and see if the issue follows to cross that off the list of possible issues.

Those are all along the firewall side of the engine. I would swap the coils and hope the codes switch to the front. That would at least let you know whether one is causing all the trouble. That's the easy stuff first method of shade tree wrenching. Then look at the knock sensor wiring and see if any got rubbed and exposed. If neither then stomp your feet and throw a $h!+ fit

My car was doing something similar, it ended being an ignition coil.

As long as flash it back to stock, they can’t tell.

Depends on the dealership honestly. My Ford dealership doesn't give a crap but others do.
