Had the 5 sp replace in my 92 SHO by a local tranny shop. Since than the engine has a skip and no power. There are no codes showing and a Snap On scan pulled up nothing. I check the coils and all six have spark. The car was tuned up with factory plugs and wires 12 months ago. Does anyone have any ideas on what is going on with the engine?
Thanks

Welcome to the Forum. A spark misfire without codes usually points to the plugs or wires. Since your misfire was coincident with the transaxle service, I would check the DIS module and its connectors on the passenger side of the intake manifold.

The trans service can cause this key ignition device to be damaged. Those connectors must be tightly attached. They can get damaged with engine movement when the subframe is dropped for the transaxle work.

You may also want to reset the EEC an idle speed. Use the "search" feature available at the top right of the Forum's pages in this topic and look for "reset idle program."
