Engine shock, dead

What is it called? (My family has just been calling it an engine shock)
And where can i find a replacement?
This one is SHOT
I already looked on sho source and rock auto

That is the Torque Strut. They are obsolete. You will not find a new replacement anywhere.

Do you have a solid motor mount? If not, get one of those from SHOSource and toss the Torque Struts in the trash.

All the more reason to get a solid front mount and do away with the damper.

We have been removing them, and tossing them for years. They are the suspenders when you wear a belt!

I think some members were welding those or putting something solid there to get extra bracing. My faulty recall see's the bolt holes it attaches to on the unibody deformed from the torque. As all us long term owners already stated, replacements unobtanium. Pull a Nimz and chain it to the subframe.
