engine problem

after doing a burnout my engine starting ticking or light knocking.. Sounds different at different rpm ranges, car will sometimes die, then when i try to start it it doesnt crank or cranks really hard.. I waited a few seconds then it started,, sounds bad but still drives, cams look good, shims are all there , belt is tight.. chains are tight
