Hey guys i need some help, i have 1994 3.2 auto sho , i removed the upper intake and replaced the spark plugs ,wires, valve covers gaskets and thoroughly cleaned the intake . After thoroughly cleaning the intake and reassembling everything i started the Old Sho up and the engine was misfiring . The sho was running fine before the maintenance , just was repairing the oil in the plug wells . The procedure is pretty straight forward, and do not know what to look for at this point . The plug wires was replaced one at a time, so i am thinking is it possible for the DIS module to be damaged during the cleaning, or the intake not completely sealed. Everything was triple check , and everything went back together with ease . Thanks for any help.

you replaced the wires one at a time? because many of the published firing order diagrams are wrong.

Please check for codes and let us know what you find.

I second that. Make sure your wires are on the right spots on the coil. 5 andn6 are reversed.

The DIS, unless it was physically damaged or the bolts that ground it are not installed 'should' be fine. Firing order noted above is good place to start.
Second thing is, since you had the intake apart for cleaning, it is not a bad guess that there is now a vacuum leak somewhere. Either an old reused gasket, which are generally durable but might need a nice shot of sticky paint or gasket sealer, is failing or..the runner couplers or mating surface to the head is leaking from gasket or alignment issue. When you put the intake on did you make sure the intake runner couplers were loose/flexible? It is best to put it back on with enough wiggle so the mating surfaces from the intake to the head can seat flush and then tighten the couplers after. If they are too tight before reinstall the alignment can get slightly kinked and may not seat 100%.

So, rule of thumb generally is, if it was good before you started and not after then go back and check your work.
