engine lurching need advice

several times over the last 2 weeks i have noticed while at steady speeds that for no apparent reason the car will lurch or get jerky (like when you don't use the clutch at a stop) once or twice then run fine. It runs fine accelerates great and shifts fine. Hard or soft accelerations no problem. Just wondering if this is a mech. issue or dirty injectors. Gonna replace fuel filter and air filter this weekend. (less than a year old and only 2500 miles on them) also gonna see if i have oil in plug wells and clean if need be. Just wondering if i and missing anything else. 60k was done before i bought the car 5 years ago ( only 34k since) any ideas would be appreciated.

i had this same issue in my 93. I cleaned out my idle air control valve and it fixed it right up!

Well i got a chance to look at the plugs and i think i found the problem. The front 3 were full of oil. i cleaned them out couldn't get to the back but i took it for a ride and no more lurching. Guess the 60k that supposively done actually wasn't. So if anyone in the denver area could get me a price on doing it i would appreciate it as i have no garage tools or ability. thanks again.

Actually all i probably need is valve lash and new seals. Had a bunch of work done not to long ago new crank cam dis belt. unfortunately had to take it to 2 different mechs because the first were idiots.
