I have a '91 SHO with a manual transmission. It has over 200,000 miles, but has been a very reliable car. Last week I was on my way back from La Crosse (two hour drive one-way) when it started to misfire. It would run on 5 then 4 and back to 5 cylinders. I pulled the car in my shop and replaced the sparkplugs and sparkplug wires. That did not work. I then replaced the DIS module, coil pack, crank sensor, and cam sensor. I tried to start it and it purred like a kitten for about 5 seconds and then died. It will not start but does fire. It acts like it is flooding itself out. I have triple checked the firing order and am confused. Do I have a valve(s) sticking or does anyone have any idea what I should do next? I am about to junk this car out...
