Engine dies

OK so I am at an intersection and going to make a left turn. I get about half way through the intersection when the engine dies. Lights out ***. Pump the pedal a few times and it lights up and away I go. Whew !! What is going on ?? Anyone had this happen ??

How many miles? You're LPFP could be going out. I've replaced the bucket in 2 different high mileage cars that had the fuel filter so clogged, it wasn't flowing fuel anymore.

Well I don't know what a LPFP is and SHO has 47,000 + miles on the OD.

Low pressure fuel pump. You have 2 pumps-- high and low pressure

Ok so I should have Ford check pressures.

That is pretty similar to what my in tank fuel pump was doing right before it died.
