Engine Computer Woes...

have a error code 19, and I have already tested my CID sensor (with a spare i had) and the problem still happened (misses a few cylinders every so often), so i have come to the conclusion that my engine computer is the problem. I have an 89 sho and I was wondering if there would be any problem running a computer from a 1992-1995 California SHO. Also I was wondering if you had any information as far as differences between the different computers I can choose from. Any idea which computer is "The Best"?

Maybe the wires from the sensor to the computer are damaged or broken
