Im having a problem with my SHO I dunno what the **** is going on rant but my car Will bog like it wants to stall. Then it will drive fine like it should. Off and on it will change up from running good to bogging. Its also running rich Ive had one cat get clocked and killed then got a whole Y pipe swapped out and the same thing happened to same cat on the second Y pipe.Today I had one cat changed out to a brand new one and the cat closet to the engine has started to crack just like the cat furthest from the engine but it was welded. So now my cats are fine but now I have to figure out whats wrong with it. I have changed out the O2 sensors swaped a MAF. If u have any info please let me now immedeitly Thanks Derek

do you have any codes? wheres your temp gauge sitting? ive heard of this happening due to engine coolant temp sensors before. which would explain why its running rich and all. have you tried unplugging the MAF alltogether and driving like that to see if its any better? had your IAC sensor tested lately? anyone else have an idea?

I had similar problems with my 1995 ATX with 114,000 + miles a month ago. After replacing the IAB with a brand new one from FPN, everything went back to normal. I hope that yours is an easy fix ... like mine. Good Luck.

Derek,

The IAB cost me $67.99 from fordpartsnetwork.com (CX-1829). I read about cleaning the IAB from shotimes.com, but I went ahead and replace the IAB with a brand new one instead. The replacement was slightly larger than my original, but it fit perfectly any. Just be very careful with the two hex screws that you do not drop them deep inside the engine compartment. As a precaution, place a rug underneathe the IAB for use as a catch rug for the screws if you drop them by mistake. Good Luck.
