Engine bog

I just purchased a 93 SHO and was wondering if anyone knew why it could be bogging out.. if i floor it it bogs but if i just ease into it there is no problem going full rpms... i was thinking either MAF sensor or possible 02 sensors... im running only premium gas ran a fuel injector cleaner thru it fuel system cleaner as well and still no change... someone please help i wanna bring it back to life.. :pray:

I'm voting your MAF sensor took a crap, unplug it and drive it and see for sure..

No it should go balls to the walls with it unplugged if that is the culprit. I had this problem as well...

Oh it went balls to the wall... and i went up against a lil rice burner accord and whooped him bad walked away in second gear at 30 mph start

ya it was and unfortunately the car has to sit for about a week until i get my next check from school so i can go buy a new one... im prolly gonna also have an engine rebuild done to it.. its only got 139,100 miles but it has a slight knock so might as well do it now to be safe you know

Don't waste money on a new one! It probably just needs to be cleaned. You can find MAF sensor cleaner at just about any auto parts store. Remove the two Torx screws, lift the sensor out of the housing, and spray it down. You might need to gently brush the wires off if there's a lot of gunk on them.
