Damnit! Thought I could avoid emission testing as I moved out of Michigan, but it turns out the counties all around Atlanta require it. I did a search, some people claim they passed testing without cats, others say it won't be possible. My 90 SHO doesn't have them, can I try to pass testing when I register it here in Georgia? Won't the inspector notice there are no cats? Is that a problem too? What should I expect at this testing?

Well if there is an emission test for the exhaust it won't pass. But I assume you already know that.

There is a plug in the engine bay (actually 2 of them), that when removed it will set the timing to zero and make almost any sho in good health pass emissions. You may want to try that. As far as the inspector seeing that you have no cats, most inspectors are too lazy to jack up the car to check, unless they have something against you. But that could just be at the shop that I take my sho to for inspection.

Aw nucking futs, the guy at FPS said I would fail horribly. He even said 3.2 MTXs sometimes have trouble passing as well....damnit.
