I had some posts up earlier about having problems with the stock JBL radio, and heres whats happening now. I can get the radio to work, but only under these conditions. the key is on with the car not running, and I have to unplug the black amp and plug it back in. it will work then... until...... if I open the drivers door it will cut out and not come back on. if the door is already open it works fine. it will also not work period with the car running. I'll be pulling out the multimeter tomorrow and tracing the problem. anyone ever have anything similar? there never was an amp bypass wire for the aftermarket radio, do you think the radio could have ruined the amp? I'll be tracing the problem, but any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Aaron

havent had time to dig into it yet but I also realised today that if you flip the domelight on with the dash switch, the doors will also lock them selves when you turn it off lol.

Well it all works perfectly now. Turns out it was a bad black amp. I didnt think it was the amp, but it turns out it was. Replaced the amp today and the stereo works perfectly! Sounds great too!
