Been searching for spring info on here and I've decided on the Eibach springs. I have a horribly pitched driveway that requires me to come in sideways onto the front lawn and then down the driveway with my Cobra so my long tubes and sub-frames don't scrape. I'm enjoying being able to pull in like a normal person with the SHO.

I'd be happy with just installing the rear eibach's to have the car sit level...my question is to those of you with the eibach's front and rear, does the car sit level or is it still raked like it is with the stock springs?

It is my understanding that the Eibach's have been discontinued due to lackluster sales

This info according to a member of another community who had their order cancelled for that reason alone.

bpd1151 is correct. The only springs eibach offers for the gen 6 Taurus is for the 2010-2012 SE & SEL FWD models.....not the SHO. They don't offer any for the gen 4 SHO, or 2013 or newer Taurus of any submodel. I was disappointed myself, since I had ordered some eibachs for my 2013 last summer, and after waiting 2 weeks with no word on my order, I called the supplier and found out that they had discontinued them......so I had to go with H&R's, which were almost 1/2 inch lower then the eibachs, and a little more in price (but I haggled and got the H&R's for the eibach price). I wasn't too sure about the lower ride heighth at first, but after getting them installed, I'm lovin' how it sits.....though I don't have a slopped driveway, just a dirt road with huge holes, and nasty business driveways in town, but I manage them pretty well.

Appreciate the info...that would explain why they don't show up on tirerack anymore. I have actually tracked down a couple pair so I'll probably end up picking up a set of them. Any issues with the shocks being effected that either of you are aware of?

No I'll effects that I've heard of, when used in conjunction with factory setup.

Good find! On an administrative note, this forum doesn't allow full links like this (EBay or Craigslist), but if you post just the listing ID (in this case 360728891150), that is perfectly A-OK :)

I still have the stock shock/struts with my H&R springs and haven't had any issues at all, so you should be good with using the not-as-low eibach springs
