You guys are singlehandedly going to turn the SHO into an E36/Miata, for everyone trying to get them through tech.

Awesome job, wish you the best of luck, but slow down a bit! ;)

Thanks all, this was a freakin' awesome experience. Thanks to James, Dave and Dillon and STLSHO for all of the help and support. We're exhausted and towing home but will update with photos tomorrow.

ChumpCar trophies are the best!

Sorry for the slow update.

We covered 1,310 laps (1,472 miles) at Iowa Speedway in 24 hours, a ChumpCar record and track record. (w00t!)

The SHO only suffered one mechanical failure, a factory weld on the exhaust causing one of the mufflers to drag. We were black flagged, came into the pits, yanked the broken pieces off and were back on track in less than 2 minutes.

Consistent and quick driving, efficient and blistering fast pit stops and a well prepared SHO were the formula for success. Thanks again to Matt at SHOSource.com, Josh at SHONutPerformace.com and of course, James, Dave and Dillon at STLSHO for all of the support, encouragement and advice.

We couldn't do this without SHOForum.com and appreciate all of you guys!
