I have a 98 that is running fine, but I want to know how to pull codes if I need to. So is there a how-to for pulling codes on my 98 computer? I am familiar with the eec IV "key on engine off" and "key on engine running" tests, because I use them on my 89 XR7 Cougar. Is it something like that? Thanks Jamie

Jamie,

There is no such procedure for EECV OBDII cars that I know of. Simple way to read codes it to take it to your local AutoZone and they'll pull the codes for free.
