Eclipse Audio

From reading around here and other places I have read good things about Eclipse head-units. I'm at the early stage of creating a good system and I have been searching for Eclipse around all the major audio retailers and I just can't find it.

Can someone give me a link where I can find and purchase Eclipse head-units?

Sometimes ebay will have them.
I don't know where in VA you are,but Johnson City,TN has an Eclipse dealer.
The name is Custom Enclosures.I don't think they have a site though.

If you get one off of ebay new or not it will not have a warranty!

I am a Certified Eclipse installer.
Eclipse also can't be sold new online so don't waste your time trying to find a online dealer. But yes i think eclipse maybe the best everall headunit. That or Alpine.

I bought my Eclipse HU at Tweeter, they're an authorized dealer. Or at least they were a few months ago.. strangely enough they dont show any Eclipse hardware on their website now

At any rate you have to go to the store to purchase, they wont ship Eclipse stuff.

Here is the link to Eclipse website http://www.eclipse-web.com/ click on contact and you'll have the ph number to ask for your nearest dealer; your best bet is buy it from the retailer, is going to be expensive but is worth every penny also you'll have the warranty and all manuals and you'll be able to code your system to avoid get it stolen; Eclipse is known for make the best and I mean the best audio components on the market good luck

I like Eclipse headunits..
As for the comments on the Alpine, I'm not a fan, I've used them on more than one occasion and every one i've owned has had to be fixed on more than on occasion. NOT impressed at all.
Overpriced crap IMHO

BUT to each their own, and I respect everyones view.

I've used both Eclipse and Alpine, and have found both to be superior products. My eclipse was an older no frills unit, and never let me down other than it didn't have a lot of bells and whistles. The sound was great from it though. I had the alpine CDA-7995 CD/mp3 player, all preamp (the eclipse was too, as was the kenwood i had before that, I never but headunits with built in amps) I was also very impressed with that unit, lots of cool features, like time alignment, and great sound quality to boot. never hada problem with it. Eclipse is undoubtedly, THE top of the line when it comes to consumer head units...unless we're talking Mc Intocsh here, but I don't think anyone woudl be stupid enough to put one of those in a SHO

I have also used both. The Alpine 7998 top of the line model and eclipse headunits. I think that they are both outstanding, and that they are more a choice of preference. For me the alpine worked out better because since my car isnt garage kept, i always wanted something that had a detachable face. Since no eclipse units have detachable faces. But if it werent for that, i wouldnt know which one to choose, but i think that eclipse would be my first choice.
