EATC Related?

Sometimes when I'm driving with the heat on, I'll notice it will just start blowing cold air, usually I can turn off the EATC for a minute, and when I turn it back on, it starts blowing warm air again. Last night however, it started blowing cold air, and would not blow hot for anything. I stopped at a friends house for an hour or so and when I left, I did start getting heat, but the drive wasn't more than a mile. It did the same thing on me today and even after turning off the car and getting gas, it didn't give me hot air right away. After yelling at it, and giong WOT to about 65, when I turned it back on, I got heat. When I do the EATC self test, I get a blend door code, but my blend door doesn't make any loud noise, I can hear something that sounds like an electic motor moving something, but its not outstandingly loud...

It sounds very much like a blend air door problem. The motor may be running but not acually opening the door. It could be the actuating lever, or the gear, or the motor. Since the problem is intermitent check your connection also.
