eatc issues??

im having intermittent issues with my eatc. in the summer time it randomly blows warm air, not heat but warm air even though the eatc says off. it does it completely random but in the colder times of year if functions fine. any ideas?

hold floor and off for 2 seconds or so then release and press automatic within 2 seconds. wait till its done testing and tell us what number(s) come up.

I tried the test holding the floor & off buttons in but nothing happened. What should happen. 94MTX with 95 hard button unit. Also the motor bogs down when I turn on any mode and bounces about 500 RPM while in idle mode.

Did you press automatic after releasing the floor and off buttons?

It should give you a numbered code after the test.

i did the test you were saying and it looked like it reset but no numbers came up, however before this the outside was 20 degrees off but now it reads fine. maybe it just needed to be reset. hey try it a few times youll get it

where do you find the vacume motors and are they wasy to replace?

I'd look to someone parting out a car. They are a common Taurus part. I don't think they are easy to replace as they are behind the dash. Could be a vacuum hose failure too behind the dash.
