I have a 94 with the cracked buttons. What year units with the hard buttons will be a direct fit? Is there any difference in the eatc units that look the same?

I have a 94 with the cracked buttons. What year units with the hard buttons will be a direct fit? Is there any difference in the eatc units that look the same?

The only unit that is will work with no modifications is a hard button unit from a 92-95 Taurus or Sable. All other units either will physically not fit without modification, have the wrong illumination, are electrically different, or some combination of the above.
