Hey Kris, got any good rim places around here? I got my rims/tires fro my 2007 malibu in Milton at a place called Cheap Thrills. They do an alright job. Got some msr rims and falken rubber for 1200 bucks. Was pretty happy, liked the rims, tires have awesome grip and it was cheap lol.

For the SHO though, i might want to do some research before just walking into a place.

If you're looking for a good price, no. All local shops suck and you'll pay at least 1.5X more than what you will online even after shipping.

When I bought my last set of wheels and tires, I got the wheels from 1010tire. The price and shipping was reasonable IIRC.
Then I bought the Kumho MX from Tirerack, got them shipped to Buffalo and I went to pick it up.

Look into the General Exclaim UHP, great performance for the price (which is great as well!). Summer only though, dunno if that works for you.

The SHO will only be driven in the summer. A guy at work is friends with someone who does business with tirerack somehow. He is able to get anythnig from tire rack at a discounted price. I looked into it when i was doing my suspension but they only had kyb's and i didnt want them.

I like #1 but hate that it says elbrus on one of the spokes. Looks like my rim quest may be long and hard.....or i can just go with 12 inch rotors instead of the 13's lol. But better looking rims would be great.

Thanks for the post Kris! Few of those i havent seen. 2, 3, and 4 are new to me. Kinda interesting that momo makes winter rims lol

The Elbrus name is tacky, but you can't beat the $126/per wheel... Unless you're looking at the Momo lol. They're not Momo wheels for Winter, they're just called Momo Winter lol; I'm positive those are on clearance, since $105 for a 17" wheel is extremely cheap.

Anyway, out for tonight. Take care dude.

I have a '95 atx aswell. I think the stock wheels polished look the best just because their made in Italy and are directional to keep the rotors cool. also their 26.1 dia. get the most from your gearing.

Hey, It looks like my car! Now I definitly wouldn't put chrome on my car! Just not my cup O tea...

Just like it looks like all the other white SHOs aside from the wheels and corners lol.

Do you say "hey, that white SHO looks like my white SHO" every time you see one too? ;)

^^^Should have picked them up for $200. Good deal, could have easily flipped them and made a few bucks if they were decent.

Then again, who sells wheels in good condition for $200?
