E-Brake Spring

Just recently my spring in on my ebrake went. What is the process on changing it and where could I get the part and info would be apprecitated thumb thanks

I got this from autozone.com, they have some really good repair info, hopfully this will work for you, I am a "member" i guess you could say.

Put a WTB in the WTB section.

Then when you get it, using the proper safety equipment, compress it in a vise and wrap some wire around it. Then put it on the caliper and snip the wire. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DOING THIS!

That spring is a ROYAL PITA. I used a bench vise to compress it and vice grips to hold it compressed until I put it on the caliper. I did this many times until I got the perfect spring size. Oh, and look away while it's compressed.
