I searched and didn't get any relevant hits - is anyone using Duralast plug wires from Autozone? They are cheap - $41.99. I'm trying to track down a miss/stumble so I'm looking for wires now.

I pulled the AGSP32FM's last week and replaced them with Autolite PP3924's. I noticed that one plug in the rear bank did not look as worn as the other 5. I'm guessing that I have a bad wire.

Any word on how the Duralast wires seal up to the Autolite plugs? The Autolite's are a bit too tall for my Accel wires. :-(

I used them and they suck! I tried to remove each one and each one broke apart in my hand. I will never use them again.

I'm running them, and the only problem I've had was one wire that would randomly pop off. The replaced them with no questions asked, and I have had no problems with this set.

+1 I use them, no problems. I can list MANY others who use them as well ... no problems.

I replaced my Accel wires with the Duralasts today. I have no idea who makes them and if the same manufacturer makes all of the Duralast wires. However, I am very pleased with them. They are 8mm wires which is an improvement over the 7mm Accels. They fit nicely in the SHO's plastic loom without the need for spiral wrap. At $42, they are ~ 50% cheaper than the Accels too. Another bonus; they are not as long so they are easier to manage. They fit much better on the Autolite PP's than the Accels did. To be fair, the Accels did fit the Motorcraft plugs perfectly. I believe that the Autolites are a little bit taller than the Motorcrafts. The Duralasts are also US made.

Oh, the SHO is finally running like a top. I either had a bad wire or the intake was not sealing on the heads very well (or both). When I replaced the plugs last week, I noticed that the intake was rocking on the heads. I had to loosen the hose clamps to try to adjust it back into place. When I reinstalled the intake today, it was rocking again. This time I used a rubber mallet in addition to loosening the hose clamps to persuade it back into place. I buttoned everything back up and its running great now. No more misfires, backfires, stumbling or loss of power. I forgot how quick this car was!
