Getting sick of this hesitation/lack of power i have, insteading of getting some mods next week id rather get this fixed. Only trouble is, no CEI, Are there any mechanics/shops in duluth or surrounding area who actually KNOW SHOs? Id even rather pay someone who knows the car that works out of there garage over a professional shop. (theyd have to be half ass professional, get it done in a day or two). The reason id rather pay an amatuer who knows my car is because i cant afford to spend 500 dollars playing the guessing game.

To sum it up, Anyone in my area know the SHO well enough to work on?

Also, is it possible to have codes without the CEI coming on?

Thanks guys.

Before you assume no codes make sure your "CEL" isn't "MIA"( CEL is missing in action) I had the same problem and the small light bulb was burned out. Takes removing the dash to fix then swap out one of the other bulbs to check. Do a search and you'll find more info. Mine threw more codes than I could count after this fix. Good luck!

Hesitation/lack of power (slight). Long story, its a really common problem, search hesitation and almost all the threads will be similar in problem and i dont think anybody has really figured it out yet.

I have a cheapo code reader im gonna hook up, but i dunno if it'll be straight for a SHO, comes with different hooks ups generalized to somethin like "91 and up OBD 1" and "94+ OBD2". Any of you ever used a cheapo code reader on a SHO? I know the paperclip thing works but i am HORRIBLE at reading those blinks, almost always f*ck it up. Now just to make sure, fuel pressure at the rails will indicate if the fuel pump is tired correct? What are the numbers i should be looking for at the rail? Also let me know about the code reader! thanks guys.
