i noticed it about a a week or 2 weeks back and didnt think much of it except that its just another thing i have to replace.. but my driverside cv axle/ half shaft or whatever you want to call it. its lose in the transmission, its not comming out of the transmission but when reach under there to like wiggle it around i can move it inside the transmission.

should this be somethen i should be extramly worried about, or is it somethen that i will just have to get around to fixen and still be able to drive the car?

Yes, cv joint shaft are suppose to have some lateral movement for suspension travel so it can expand and retract so that way not "bottoms out" hitting the inner cv housing. As the housing shouldn't have any movement at all!
