Well, i pulled it today as part of my front end suspension replacment / 94/95 pbr upgrade, and to my suprise, its draining my trans fluid.... is this a normal thing? i know it didnt for the passanger side and i assume its because the intermediate shaft is there. anyways let me know if i should be worried!

Yes, that's normal. Taking the intermediate shaft out on the other side does the same thing, but you can remove the passenger-side CV without removing the IM shaft.

Good opportunity to change fluid, eh?

Yeah if you pull the axle out of the tranny it will loose fluid. Make sure you top it up when your done. And there was no need to remove it from the tranny to do the upgrade.

I realize there was no need to do so, but I decided to replace it because of a small leak in the boot. everything minus the struts on the front end of this car is original, so I am replacing a lot of things. Thanks for the replys everyone! I cant wait to have this thing back on the road with a tight front end.
