I've got a 2011, several months ago it started making a whining type of sound that I was pretty sure were the cv axles going bad. It's got a bit over 86k on it.
One night on the way home from work there was a very distinct pop that sounded like metal cracking. The car almost locked up. It makes a really loud popping sound, I replaced both front cv axles and bearing hubs. The problem is persistent. I'm at a loss as to what to do next, if anyone has any ideas I'm open to suggestions
